Aguaguanches Distillery
Aguaguanches Distillery was founded in 2016 by Riccardo Schiassi and is the first and only distillery in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. The distillery is named after the Guanches people who were the indigenous inhabitants of the Canary Islands, and it produces two styles of gin - Gin 72 London Dry Gin which features botanicals including apple, citrus fruits, star anise and hand-collected seaweed, and their compound gin El Beso de la Mulata (meaning 'Kiss of the Mulata').

Meet the Maker
"Here in Fuerteventura, there are different histories and cultures, and ideas and dreams come together to become reality. The first distillery was born on this magical island in 2016: I am the producer and Master Distiller of Gin 72 Premium, the first and only London Dry Gin distilled in the Canary Islands. I decided to open the doors of my distillery and create a unique and active experience for the people involved; explaining what a Gin is, the different existing types, and how to make a bottle of Gin from A to Z." - Riccardo Schiassi, Founder & Distiller
