Anno Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Anno Gin
Based in Kent, Anno Gin is one of the first gins to be produced in the Garden of England since the 1800s and is distilled in-house in a small batch pot still named Patience. Anno gin utilises many ingredients from the surrounding Kent countryside in combination with traditional gin botanicals, including Kentish lavender, elderflower, samphire, rose hips and hops. The Gin Guide Review Anno Kent Dry Gin delivers freshness and flavour in a complex and well-balanced gin. The lengthy list of local botanicals takes you on a journey from classic juniper flavours, to sweet spices, citrus, and bitter hops, culminating in a dry, lingering finish. Whilst London is the heart of the recent gin flourish in England, Anno gin shows that top quality artisan gins aren't restricted to the capital. - Paul Jackson, 2015 |
