Langa Spirit

Langa Spirit was founded in 2022 by Stefano Marengo and he launched BaróGin the same year. Inspired by his Grandfather's passion for distilling and historic Gin recipes featuring wine, Stefano worked with Bordiga 1888 Distillery to develop a spirit that combines the traditional character of gin with the character of the Borolo Wine from his hometown.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of rich red wine and dried fruits with pine and citrus. On the palate, red wine character intertwined with juniper and cardamom.
Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Orange Peel, or Neat or in a Negroni.

Meet the Makers

"The art of distillation is a family passion handed down from my grandfather. I’m a history lover and I found some alchemy textbooks from the 1500s with “Gin/Jenever” recipes featuring wine, and this was my inspiration for the creation of BaròGin.
