Boodles Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Boodles Gin
Boodles Gin originally dates back to 1845 and was a favourite of Winston Churchill - the most famous member of the Boodles Club that the gin took its name from. Boodles gin re-emerged in 2013 thanks to G&J Distillers in Warrington (producers of Greenall's Gin, Opihr Gin and Bloom Gin) and it continues to be different through not including any citrus botanicals on the assumption that it will always be served with lemon or lime. The Gin Guide Review As a relatively low cost London Dry that you can pick up in some larger supermarkets, it's a sumptuously smooth and moreish gin. It's mellow and herby and the absence of citrus botanicals allows these flavours and the juniper to shine through. A very accessible gin, it is well-rounded and good value - it's very nice to see it return. - Paul Jackson, 2015 Buy Boodles Gin
