The Gin Guide Review
This is certainly a gin made with the summer and pink/flavour gin lovers in mind. On the nose there are bold aromas of strawberry sweets leaping out, then on the palate the mouthfeel is lighter than the nose would suggest and it is not syrupy or heavy. It is undoubtedly strawberry and rhubarb forward with tart rhubarb flavour helping to balance the strawberry sweetness. Underlying it all is Boodles London Dry Gin which emerges in the finish with earthiness and soft spice as the strawberry and rhubarb fades. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |
