Brecon Botanicals Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Brecon Botanicals Gin
Brecon Botanicals Gin is the creation of the Penderyn Distillery in Wales, well known for their whisky. Whilst the gin itself isn't produced in Wales and is third-party distilled, it is delivered to Penderyn ready for the final stages of production. It features 8 botanicals from across the world, water from the Brecon Beacons National Park and a base of pure grain spirit.
The Gin Guide Review Following in the footsteps of Penderyn's first gin, Brecon Special Reserve Gin, Brecon Botanicals Gin follows a similar approach whilst delivering a distinguishably different gin. The gin neatly delivers what you'd hope for from the choice of botanicals, with citrus standing out clearly with a background of coriander seeds an earthy spice to balance with it. It is excellent value for money and very easy drinking. - Paul Jackson, 2016 |
