Bullards Coastal Gin - Review & Tasting Notes

The Gin Guide Review
Bullards Coastal Gin delivers a wash of coastal flavour and well constructed complexity. On the nose, alongside juniper and citrus is a wave of fresh sea air that transports you straight to the coast. On the palate there's piney, woody juniper, samphire, fresh citrus, coriander seeds, herbal fennel and a gentle salinity which builds into the finish. With the addition of tonic the release of botanical oils creates a pearlescent glow and there's a crispness with soft floral notes and depth of herbal and citrus notes. Lime peel or blackberries make for ideal garnish starting points and the freshness of the gin pairs well with the deep fruit notes when served as a Bramble. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |

Meet the Maker
"When I was a young lad I worked for the Norwich Brewery and actually worked on the Bullards brand which was originally established in 1837. I then went on to set up a marketing agency which I sold and I thought I would retire, but the opportunity arose to acquire the old Bullards brand and I simply couldn't resist!" - Russell Evans, Co-Founder
