Campfire Navy Strength Gin: Review & Tasting Notes

The Gin Guide Review
Campfire Navy Strength Gin makes full use of the potential to carry a greater wealth of essential oils and flavour at a higher ABV. Piney juniper, citrus and subtly sweet fruity notes are prominent with a floral hint underlying them. Even with just a dash of tonic, it is exceptionally light, smooth and easy drinking. The addition of tonic sees those essential oils being released and clouding in a G&T, bringing out even more pine, fruitiness and gentle sweetness. Some gin drinkers are deterred by the strength and potential harshness of a high ABV gin, but this may be the gin to allay all those concerns. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |
