Caorunn Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Caorunn Gin
Pronounced 'ka-roon', Caorunn is a Scottish gin produced in-house at the Balmenach distillery (a malt whiskey distillery). Made from a pure grain spirit, Caorunn Gin features 5 unique Scottish botanicals in combination with tradition gin botanicals - rowan berries, heather, dandelion, bog myrtle, and coul blush apples. The Gin Guide Review With 5 unique Scottish botanicals, Caorunn gin has some distinct characteristics, although it isn't immediately clear how much of that is coming from the unique botanicals. It has a a sweetness and warmth within the fruity flavours, whilst being lighter on juniper and citrus. A balanced and enjoyable gin, especially at it's price. - Paul Jackson, 2015 You Might Also Like... For another fruity gin try Monkey 47, or try NB Gin for another Scottish gin. Buy Caorunn Gin
