Chesterfield Dry Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Chesterfield Dry Gin
Chesterfield Dry Gin was launched in 2018 and is produced by Derbyshire Distillery - Chesterfield's first commercial distillery. The gin is produced using a combination of traditional copper alembic stills and a state of the art Genio Still. Chesterfield Dry Gin was a runner-up in the London Dry Gin category of The Gin Guide Awards 2019. The Gin Guide Review Chesterfield Dry Gin has a classic core and a contemporary twist of hibiscus, ginger and cardamom. It is fragrant and aromatic with traditional botanicals standing out alongside cardamom and floral hibiscus. To taste it is bold, flavoursome and balanced with bright notes contrasting with earthy roots and spice. The smoothness and dryness is highlighted in the lingering finish, and Chesterfield Dry Gin is ideal served in a Gin and Tonic with a garnish of lime or ginger. - Paul Jackson, 2019 |

MEET THE MAKER"I love cooking and creating recipes with both food and beers, so I wanted to try making a gin. After several months working on a 3 litre alembic still I decided I wanted to commercially launch a gin and distillery" - David Hemstock, Founder & Distiller
