Collymoon Craft Gin
|
Collymoon Craft Gin was launched in 2023 by Nicola Finney after retiring from a career in education, fulfilling a long-held ambition to produce gin. Based in the Collymoon area of Stirlingshire in Scotland, the Collymoon Craft Gin logo depicts the mountainous Lomond Range visible from Nicola's house, the Scotch pine tree in Nicola's garden, and the River Forth which flows past her garden. Having undertaken distilling courses and obtained a Rectifiers Licence, Nicola develops her recipes in small stills before utilising the large stills at Distillutions in Arbroath to upscale her gins. The Collymoon Craft Gin range includes Gealach Úr Gin (meaning 'New Moon' in Gaelic) and Solas An Earraich Gin (meaning 'Spring Light' in Gaelic).

Meet the Maker
"We are a small family-run business created out of a shared passion for craft gin. Having spent the previous 20 years working within the education sector I had the opportunity to fulfil a long time ambition to create my own gin to share with others. I am constantly sourcing unique botanicals inspired by those naturally growing locally and more widely throughout Scotland, with the addition of a few flavours I have enjoyed from around the world." - Founder, Nicola Finney
