Cuckoo Signature Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Cuckoo Gin
Launched in 2017 by the Singleton family, Cuckoo Signature Gin is produced at Brindle Distillery on Holmes Farm in Lancashire. The gin's name is inspired by the story of the 'Brindle Cuckoo'. According to local legend, in the Middle Ages the people of Brindle tried to prevent the first cuckoo of spring from leaving their village by building a wall around its field. The plan failed, but people born and bred in Brindle are still known as 'Brindle Cuckoos'. |

"The family farmed the land for almost 100 years, specifically pedigree beef cows over the last ten years. It become apparent to Gerard Singleton that neither he or his children saw their future in farming in its current manner." - Mark Long, Brindle Distillery
