Damascus Gin
Damascus Gin was launched in 2024 by founders Joelle Antaky, Joseph Abi Ghanem, and Andres Gonzalez, with a shared aim to show the beauty, resilience and creativity of Lebanon and Syria. Produced at Chateau Bybline winery in Lebanon and named after the Syrian capital city, Damascus Gin aims to reflect the history, culture and beauty of Damascus, with a botanical focus on the Damascus Rose alongside Syrian juniper, Lebanese citrus, pistachios from Aleppo, and local mountain spring water.

Review: Damascus Gin (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 4 botanicals including Syrian juniper, Damascus Rose, Aleppo pistachios, pomelo. Base Spirit: Grain.​​
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon Peel or Rose, or in a Gin Mojito or Gimlet.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of floral rose and fruity citrus. Bright and refreshing on the palate, with notes of rose, pomelo and juniper. A light, clean finish with bittersweet citrus and subtly sweet notes of pistachio.​
