Dancing Dragontail Summer Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Dancing Dragontail Gin
Dancing Dragontail Summer Gin was launched in 2017 by The Gin Kitchen in Surrey, and is named after a Cambodian butterfly. The gin is distilled in-house in a small, traditional copper pot still and features botanicals including Kosovan juniper, green cardamom and pink grapefruit. The Gin Kitchen was estabished in 2016 by friends Kate Gregory and Helen Muncie who we're inspired by an radio segment about the gin revival and now produce their range of gins, including Gusty Monkey Winter Gin, in a converted barn in the Surrey Hills. The Gin Guide says... Dancing Dragontail Summer Gin is an uplifting, flavoursome and bright gin with a light, fresh juniper base. It is moreish and well-balanced, with zesty citrus vibrantly contrasting with rooty sweetness and aromatic cardamom. It is certainly a modern, summery gin in flavour, but one you'll want to enjoy all year round. It is a higher ABV gin at 48%, giving boldness of flavour and warmth in the finish, balanced with sweetness and a smooth mouthfeel. Garnish: Lime and/or Lemongrass. - Reviewer: Paul Jackson - 2018 You Might Also Like...
