DedBest Distillery was launched in 2021 by friends Bob Dedman and Damian Best. Having fittingly first met in a bar, before later going on to work together in the construction industry (inspiring the name of their Contractor's Gin), Bob and Damian discussed a shared dream of creating their own distillery when Covid-19 hit and then made it a reality. DedBest Distillery is located near Lewes in the old Mill Room at Crockstead Farm, home to their 50L copper pot still and frequented by free-roaming peacocks. Since selling their first bottle of gin in October 2021, Bob and Damian have expanded their range to include Contractor's Charcoal Filtered Vodka and a collection of gin and rum liqueurs.

Over ten years ago we first met and quickly became close friends. As the years went on, we began working together in the construction industry. Although we enjoyed this greatly, we craved for something more. Discussions and dreams of creating our very own distillery soon became a reality and The DedBest Distillery was born. The distillery is located deep in the Sussex countryside, a few moments north of Lewes. The rolling countryside, beautiful wildlife and friendly locals make it the ideal situation to form our exciting recipes for your enjoyment."
