Dergano Gin

Dergano Gin was launched in 2025 by Noam Shaked and is distilled at Mosaico Spirits in Bologna. As a keen gin drinker, Noam purchased a 2L copper still to explore and study distilling, before taking the hobby to the next step and creating Dergano Gin - named after the Dergano neighbourhood of Milan which inspired the gin with its combination of traditional charm and contemporary character. The name Dergano is derived from an ancient Celtic word meaning 'oak' and this inspired the brand's acorn logo.

Dergano Gin Silver (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 12 botanicals including juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, allspice, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, cardamom, rosehips, bergamot, bitter orange, sweet orange. Base Spirit: Grain.​
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Cucumber or Sage, or in a Martini or Negroni
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, orange citrus, and aromatic warm spices. Juniper, orange and rosehips on the palate, with layers of allspice, cloves and cardamom. Peppery warmth leads into a lingering finish of bittersweet citrus, cinnamon and warming spice.

Meet the Maker

"Gin was always my go-to drink but I never thought I'd ever end up producing it. As a DIY guy, I bought a small 2L copper still as I was curious about distilling and I wanted to try it at home. From one experiment to the next I found myself drawn into the distillation world and I started studying it, participating in trade fairs and talking to other distillers.
