Due Sorelle Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
Due Sorelle Gin
Launched in 2019, Due Sorelle Gin was started by sisters Steph and Ali, with the Italian name meaning 'Two Sisters'. The gin is inspired by Steph and Ali's love of Italy and sparkling wine, with servings such as a French 75 in mind during its development. |
The Gin Guide Review
Due Sorelle Signature Gin was created to be served in a Gin & Tonic or with sparkling wine and it's certainly at home in these servings. When neat the gin is light and there's a classic core of botanicals alongside lemon, honey and lemon thyme, before warmth builds in the finish with a hint of cinnamon. A drop of water elevates the lemon peel and honey characters and with tonic more juniper emerges as well as a notable sweetness. It's sweet but moreish G&T and lemon peel or thyme make for ideal garnish starting points. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |
