Erbe Gin

Erbe Gin was launched in Belgium in 2023 by bartender and restaurant manager Gerbe Suttels. Erbe Gin is inspired by Italy and their debut Lime & Sage Gin features Sicilian lime and sage from Piedmont, while the 'Erbe' brand name is Italian word for 'herbs' as well as being part of Gerbe's name.

Erbe Gin - Lime & Sage (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 14 botanicals including juniper, sage, lime. Base Spirit: Grain.​
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lime and Sage, or in a Gimlet.
  • Tasting Notes: Bold aromas of sweet citrus. Juniper and lime on the palate with herbaceous and floral notes and a hint of sweetness. A lingering finish of citrus and juniper.
The Gin Guide Review: Erbe Gin was awarded as ‘Best in Belgium 2024’ in The Gin Guide Awards 2024. The Judges were impressed by the bold citrus aromas, the smooth mouthfeel, and the serving with Tonic. Individual Judge's comments included describing Erbe Gin as having ‘beautiful aromas’ and a ‘bright, fresh juniper and lime character’, supporting the gin’s score being in the ‘Excellent’ score range.
