Forager's Yellow Label Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Forager's Yellow Label Gin
Forager's Gin is the creation of Snowdonia Distillery which launched in 2015 with a ethos of focusing on sustainability and quality rather than quantity. Forager's Yellow Label was launched in 2016 and is produced in-house in small batches of up to 200 bottles per week, using a Hungarian copper pot still and only local Snowdonian botanicals and water filtered through the Snowdownian granite. The local botanicals include apple, elderberry, heather and gorse, as well as juniper (which the majority of distilleries import) as Snowdonia Distillery have foragers' rights to pick it locally. The Gin Guide says... Forager's Yellow Label Gin is a beautiful representation of Snowdonia and its botanicals, and of passionate, high quality and sustainable distilling. The gin bursts with floral flavours from the mountain flowers and a subtle sweetness from the apple, with the local juniper well-balanced amongst the botanicals. You Might Also Like...
