Gin de Binche - Review & Tasting Notes
About Gin de Binche
Gin de Binche was launched in 2017 and is distilled and bottled at Biercée Distillerie in the French-speaking Walloon area of southern Belgium. The design of the bottle is a tribute to the Belgian town of Binche, known for its carnival and its architectural heritage. On Shrove Tuesday, the last day of Binche's 3-day carnival, performers known as 'Gilles' throw oranges into the crowd as gifts, hence the blood orange flavour in Gin de Binche. The lion and the silver colour on the Gin de Binche bottle are the same as those that appear on the coat of arms and flag of Binche. |

MEET THE MAKERS"My wife and I are fans of gin and our city and region. We have a world-renowned carnival and a superb city. We wanted to create a gin in homage to our city."
