Gin Eva Old Tom was Launched in 2018 by Winterling Maier Distillery in Majorca, Spain. Based on their signature gin, Gin Eva Old Tom is rested for several months in casks that previously held Majorcan red wine. The distillery was launched by husband and wife team Eva Maier and Stefan Winterling, an oenologist from Catalonia and a wine grower from Germany. Their gins are distilled in-house in traditional 150L copper pot stills in 70 bottle batches. Alongside traditional botanicals, Gin Eva Old Tom features locally-grown Mediterranean botanicals including Phoenician juniper and the pulp and skin of Majorcan lemons and oranges grown in the Soller region of the island.

The Gin Guide Review
Gin Eva Old Tom combines the characteristics of the historic Old Tom style with the flavours of Majorca. When drunk neat it is rich with deep orange notes, lemon flavours reminiscent of limoncello, and soft oak notes that bring both sweetness and spice to balance. It's a gin that can certainly be enjoyed neat or on ice. With tonic the richness of the citrus lightens but the depth of flavour remains and is joined my more prominence of piney juniper.
