Launched in 2019, Grain Artisan Distillery operates from a converted cattle shed on Church Farm in the rural village of Barlow in Derbyshire, home to Founder, Becky Morgan. The distillery uses a combination of traditional copper pot and column stills, with the electricity used being 100% solar powered, and with several of the botanicals being locally foraged. Alongside the distillery is also a Gin Shop.

Grain Artisan Signature Gin

  • ​ABV: 42% (Base Spirit: Grain)
  • ​Price Band: £35 - £40
  • Botanicals: 14 including juniper, cardamom, ginger, fennel seeds, elderflower, meadowsweet, hibiscus, rowan berries, orange peel, lemon, peel.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, cardamom, ginger & fresh, zesty citrus. On the palate, a classic core of botanicals alongside fennel, elderflower, citrus & ginger. A sweet anise note from fennel seeds to finish.
Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Orange and/or Thyme, or in a Martini.

"All of our products are hand made, hand finished and are ultra small batch. We forage locally for botanicals and fruit as well as growing our own on the farm.
