Nao Spirits - Greater Than
In 2015, bar owners Anand Virmani and Vaibhav Singh were inspired to bring craft gin to India -  the birthplace of the Gin & Tonic - and to share Indian Gin with global markets. After experimenting with India's rich array of fruits, spices, and herbs, they created two recipes they were proud of: Greater Than and Hapusa Gin. In 2017, Nao Spirits was established and the two gins were launched, making Nao Spirits one of pioneers of the Indian craft gin industry. Their distillery in Goa is home to their 1000L Hagyo Copper Pot Still and the name 'Greater Than' is a nod to India's long history of producing some of the world's greatest mathematicians, coupled with the cheekiness of how the Nao Spirits team compare their gin with the competition.

Greater Than London Dry Gin (42.8% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 9 botanicals including juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, ginger, chamomile, almonds,  fennel, lemongrass, orange peel. Base Spirit: Grain.​
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon or Rosemary, or in a Negroni or Bee's Knees.​
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, lemon and orange peel. Juniper and citrus with notes of sweet fennel. A finish of lingering citrus, coriander seeds and warming ginger.​
