The Gin Guide Review
Keepr's Gin with British Honey is a showcase of honey flavours painted on a canvas of London Dry Gin. Cloudy and with an enticing honey hue, it is instantly fragrant on the nose with aromas of sweet, floral honey and hints of cardamom. The mouthfeel is smooth, rounded and full-bodied, with plentiful sweet honey character and gentle notes of spice, florals, vanilla, citrus and piney juniper. The finish delivers a kick of peppery spice and lingers with notes of honey and citrus peel marmalade. While certainly in the 'flavoured gin' category, it's a sweet treat that you can enjoy straight out of the freezer, shaken with ice and lemon juice for the equivalent of a Bee's Knees, or in a contemporary G&T with a rosemary garnish to give dry, herbaceous balance. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |
