Langley's London Dry Gin - Review

The Gin Guide Review:
Langley's London Dry Gin offers plentiful traditional character and delivers very much what you'd hope for in a classic London Dry Gin. The juniper is abundant, the mouthfeel is dry and crisp, and the balance of citrus and spice ranges from bittersweet orange and lemon to warming and almost wintery spice from cloves, nutmeg and cassia. With Tonic Water the dry and earthy character continues and all round it is a very versatile gin for classic gin cocktails. In such a bold, vibrant and diverse spirits industry, Langley's London Dry is an almost nostalgic gin and a pleasing reminder of classic gin character. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |
Langley's First Chapter Gin
Langley's First Chapter Gin (38% ABV) features 10 traditional botanicals, including the 8 botanicals used in Langley's London Dry Gin with the addition of Cinnamon and Liquorice Root, and is inspired by the 1729 First Gin Act.

Langley's Old Tom Gin
Langley's Old Tom Gin (47% ABV) features the same botanicals as Langley's London Dry Gin but is produced in the traditional, mildly sweeter Old Tom style.

Meet the Makers
"Langley’s Gin is distilled at the Langley’s Distillery which houses some of the UK’s oldest working copper stills. The site produces over 40 million bottles of gin each year and has produced liquids for some of the biggest brands in the world in recent history. In terms of our distillation process, we distil our liquids a single time only – this ensures that we only extract the purest flavours from the botanicals we use." - Sales Director, Matt Ashton-Melia
