Listoke 1777 Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Listoke 1777 Gin
Listoke Gin was launched in 2016 by Blanaid O'Hare and her husband after returning home to Ireland in 2015 after working in the bar industry in Manhattan. The distillery was originally set up in a 200 year old barn at Listoke House and Gardens in County Louth, before moving to the nearby Tenure Business Park. Listoke Gin features botanicals including juniper, rowan berries, cardamom and orange, which are distilled in their three iStill 500 Pro stills. The bottle was updated from being clear to being a deep green in 2018, and it features a swooping barn owl inspired by the owls living in the stables at Listoke House. The Gin Guide Review Listoke 1777 Gin is bold and full of flavour. As soon as you open the bottle you are greeted with a bountiful aroma with floral, fruity and earthy notes. The gin has personality, impressive depth of flavour and a complexity that reveals piney juniper, citrus and herbaceous notes, and a lingering finish with a touch of spice. Best enjoyed in a gin and tonic, Listoke 1777 Gin is versatile, with orange peel, rosemary and cinnamon all producing moreish servings. Buy Listoke 1777 Gin

Meet the Maker"My husband and I had just returned from Manhattan for a combined length of 30 years. We worked in the bar industry and had seen the beginning of the Gin Renaissance there. We wanted to start our own business here."
