Luftbremzer Distillery
Luftbremzer Gin Distillery was established in 2018 and launched Luftbremzer Gin the same year. The name ‘Luftbremzer’ is an old term used in the Zagreb vernacular for a person who likes to enjoy life, procrastinate and talk a lot, and the parrot on the bottle label is their symbol for such a person. The gin is bottled in 100% recycled bottles and distilled in 350 bottle batches using a combination of pot distilling and vapour infusion. The botanicals used aim to represent two sides of Croatia, the Mediterranean coast and Dinaric regions, and the interior hinterlands. |

Meet the Makers
"I started distilling gin in my kitchen using laboratory equipment and was been amazed with the results. At that moment my enthusiasm and appreciation of gin, combined with the opportunities of the booming gin market, led to the distillery business plan being developed. My goal was to make a high quality, honest and approachable product that is down to earth, unpretentious and with a touch of good humour." - Founder, Filip Presečki
