Lumber's Bartholomew Navy Strength Gin
About Lumber's Bartholomew Navy Strength

The Gin Guide Review
Lumber's Bartholomew Navy Strength delivers an abundance of deep spice, alongside juniper, citrus peels and floral lavender. On the nose and palate you'll find piney juniper and plentiful earthy spice with cloves, cardamom and cassia bark that give a warming, wintery feel. Meanwhile the citrus peels and lavender offer zesty and floral balancing notes and contrast. The mouthfeel is smooth and while holding the character of a high ABV spirit it doesn't develop into harshness. As is typical of many Navy Strength gins, Lumber's Bartholomew Navy Strength clouds when tonic is added and as the essential oils are released. Orange makes for an ideal G&T garnish starting point. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |
