Manchester Gin Wild Spirit Review & Tasting Notes
About Manchester Gin - Wild Spirit
Manchester Gin's Wild Spirit was launched in 2018 following the success of Manchester Gin's Signature Gin that was launched by Jen Wiggins and Seb Heeley in 2016. Wild Spirit Gin is a herbaceous variation inspired by Jen and Seb's walks through South Manchester's woodlands. It is distilled in-house in their central Manchester distillery and it sees the sweet and citrus botanicals from the Signature Gin replaced with savoury botanicals such as sage, thyme and silver birch. Inspired by their northern location, Wild Spirit Gin also features dandelion and burdock roots, hand-foraged in the Manchester area. Find out more in The Gin Guide's 'Meet the Maker' interview with Jennie from Manchester Gin. The Gin Guide says... Manchester Gin Wild Spirit is deliciously herbal and savoury with a series of enjoyable undertones, from fresh and floral notes to earthy notes and peppery spice. The gin maintains the character from Manchester Gin's Signature Gin and the inspiration from Manchester's woodland has been applied with great effect to create a worthy addition to the growing Manchester Gin range.
