The Gin Guide Review
Marie Jeanne's Pink Gin is vibrant and fruity, balanced with a traditional core and layers of contemporary botanicals. It's an impressive example of the new breed of 'pink gins' that are drier and give more prominence to classic gin characteristics. On the nose it is boldly fruity with strawberries, raspberries and floral hibiscus. On the palate it is deeply flavoursome with strawberry and raspberry, but also a dry note of cranberry, zesty lime peel, floral hibiscus and spicy pink peppercorns which give depth, complexity and balance. It's this that sets it apart as not just being a one dimensional fruit gin. With the addition of tonic, strawberry and raspberry remain distinctive, with balance, crispness and freshness rather than any heaviness or overpowering sweetness. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |

Meet the Maker
Distiller, Tristan Jorgensen
"Marie Jeanne’s Pink Gin is made with a completely different recipe to our Burrell's Dry Gin. We only use 12 botanicals to produce her flavour profile, which is sassy and elegant - full of fresh red berries with a hint of clean fresh lime. On this distillation we do not use the vapour basket, instead bypassing straight to the condenser." |
