Naughty Hare Distillery
Naughty Hare Distillery was founded by friends Gabriela Silion and Dawn Jacques in 2023 at Hill Farm near Ashby-De-La-Zouch, sharing the picturesque rural location with their Hastings Retreat holiday lets, where guests are able to enjoy on-site gin tasting experiences. The Naughty Hare brand is inspired all things British, and following the launch of their King Charlie London Dry Gin their gin range has grown to include a Strawberry & Vanilla Gin, a Lavender & Rosemary Gin, and an 'After Dinner Gin' with dark chocolate and mint.

King Charlie London Dry Gin (37.5% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 6 botanicals including juniper, angelica root, coriander seeds, liquorice, chamomile, lemon peel. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon Peel, or in a Martini or White Lady.
  • Tasting Notes: Classic aromas of juniper and citrus. Juniper, lemon and soft chamomile on the palate. A finish of dry, peppery juniper and earthy, rooty notes.

"We started with our first still 'Virginia' and we didn’t predict we’d outgrow her. Then came 'Big Bertha' – and oh boy, did we realise size does matter! Little did we know, we were destined for an even bigger and better still, 'Betty'. Why Betty? It’s all in the royal name – Queen Elizabeth.
