About Old Amersham Gin
Old Amersham Gin began as a hobby for founder Daniella Ashfield and her late father, David, who owned the historic Kings Arms Hotel, The Crown and Kings Chapel in Old Amersham. Driven by their own love of gin and serving G&Ts at their pubs, the duo began growing ingredients in the pub's garden and using them to experiment with recipes for their own gin, before partnering with the locally-based British Honey Company to produce their gin. |

The Gin Guide Review
Old Amersham Gin has a wonderfully quirky and colourful brand and the gin inside the bottle is a fitting match, from the dry and herbaceous rosemary and earthy juniper, to the citrus peels, refreshing and herbal mint, and floral, subtly sweet elderflower. There is a real sense of the herb garden, and with Tonic Water the elderflower is elevated for a summery feel. It's very much a contemporary gin but created with traditional garden herbs and elderflower, giving it distinctive flavour but a homely and charming quality at the same. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |
Meet the Makers
"Old Amersham Gin began in 2018 as a hobby for my late father and I, something super fun we could enjoy together alongside our work in the Kings Arms Hotel. We enjoyed serving everyone their G&T's so much, so we thought 'why not make our own?!'. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in the three years since then." Co-Founder, Daniella Ashfield
