Distillery Details
In 2013, Ian Puddick purchased a set of run down mews buildings in North London, including a former bakery building and its grain store. While going through the process of having to sadly remove the building's structurally unsound 140ft chimney, and researching the history of the buildings, Ian discovered a secret - over a century ago, illegal gin was being made and sold in the bakery. As a gin lover, Ian decided to revive the buildings' history of gin making but on the right side of the law, and Old Bakery Gin and its distillery were born.
