Old Pilot's Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Old Pilot's Gin
Launched in 2018, Old Pilot's Gin is a London Dry style gin produced with an iStill at the Duh u Boci ('The Spirit in the Bottle') Distillery in Zagreb, Croatia. The botanicals are sourced from certified Croatian herb growers and the entire production process is carried out in-house at the distillery, including hand-sealing the bottles with wax. The name 'Old Pilot's Gin' refers to the owners and co-founders of the Duh u Boci Distillery, Hrvoje Busic and Tomislav Anadolac, as they are friends who met when they were training at the Croatian Air Force Academy. MEET THE MAKER"The famous Croatian juniper berries were rarely used in Croatia. Our goal was to produce gin using both the famous juniper berries that grow on the border of the Mediterranean and Continental climate and also other Croatian botanicals."
