Pipehouse Earl Grey & Cucumber Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Pipehouse Gin
Named after Tunbridge Wells Pipe House, Pipehouse Gin was launched in 2018 by friends and Tunbridge Wells residents Ben and Katie Larcombe and Emma and Sam Priestley. The gin third-party distilled at Winchester Distillery and is infused with cucumber and Earl Grey tea before being bottled at 40%. The Gin Guide says... Cucumber and Earl Grey aren't two flavours you would necessarily think to pair, yet the combination makes for a flavoursome and refreshing gin that really works. On the nose the gin delivers a burst of cucumber, while to taste it brings juniper and Earl Grey followed by a wash of fresh cucumber. It's this contrast that makes Pipehouse Gin distinctive, interesting and so enjoyable - an ideal accompaniment to an afternoon tea! Garnish: Cucumber You Might Also Like... Also try Martin Miller's Gin which features cucumber distillate. |
