Poacher's Tonic Water - Review & Information
About Poacher's Drinks Company
The inspiration for the Poacher's range was found in the farm's centuries old spring. The spring is known as Toberafinn - The Well of Finn - named after the legendary Irish warrior and hunter who was called upon by kings in times of war for his wisdom and counsel. |
The Gin Guide Review
The Poacher's range is a triumph, with high quality, balanced mixers. The use of Irish thyme gives a subtle herbaceous undertone alongside lemon in the crisp Classic Tonic, while fresh rosemary is used to similar effect in the Citrus Tonic. The Ginger Ale finds the ideal middle-ground of not being harshly fiery or artificially sweet, and the 'Wild Tonic' featuring elderflower delivers delicate flavour without dominating. Each mixer is well put together and together they provide ideal serving options for a diverse range of spirits. - Paul Jackson, 2019 |
