About Pocketful of Stones Distillery
|
Pocketful of Stones Distillery was launched by 4 friends in the London pub and bar industry, with Shaun Bebington creating their first gin in the basement of his pub, The Lukin in Fitzrovia, before relocating to set up their distillery in Penzance, Cornwall. Their original gin, Caspyn Cornish Dry Gin, was launched in 2016 as has been followed by Caspyn Midsummer Gin and a range of other gins and spirits. The Gin Guide Review
Caspyn Gin is a beautifully fresh and invigorating blend of juniper, floral and citrus flavours. When neat, the hibiscus takes a prominent role alongside the diverse selection of citrus botanicals that also deliver a finish reminiscent of sherbet and orange blossom. Distiller Shaun Bebington's inspiration of crisp, fresh Cornish spring mornings certainly shows, and if you take a sip and close your eyes you can happily picture yourself sat on a blustery Cornish beach. Caspyn Gin makes a distinct and refreshing Gin & Tonic, ideal for a summer day. - Paul Jackson, 2017 |
Meet the Makers
"The distillery is only small. Everything is centered around the stills; our two beautiful, handcrafted copper pot stills. The process is hands on. Nothing is automated and everything is done by taste and smell. I like it this way, it's a throw back to a centuries old tradition of distilling, the way it's always been done." - Founder & Distiller, Shaun Bebington
