About Poppyland Brewery & Distillery
Poppyland Brewery was founded in 2012 by Martin Warren, a close friend of the new custodians, Dave and Mandy Cornell, who took over the brewery in 2019 and began formulating plans to also produce gin. and virtually straight away we thought a gin brand along with our beers would be a perfect fit. After visiting many distilleries, attending Jamie Baxter's Brew School course and perfecting recipes with Jill Mulvaney in New Zealand, Dave and Mandy ordered their G-Still before launching their flagship London Dry Gin - East Coast Dry Gin - in May 2020. |

"We saw an opportunity to produce gin alongside our beer using locally foraged and sourced ingredients to produce high quality, low volume gins. The still is based inside the brewery and we have an overall floor area of around 30m2, so we are very small and compact but quirky!" - Founder & Distiller, Dave Cornell
