Pothecary Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Pothecary Gin
Pothecary Gin is the creation of friends Martin Jennings and Lukasz Dwornik, and it is distilled in-house in Dorset in a copper pot still and using English grain spirit. The gin features organic, hand-picked botanicals including lavender, Tilia flowers, black mulberries, juniper and lemon peel. Each botanical is distilled separately before being blended. Pothecary Gin was awarded the Double Gold award at the San Francisco spirits awards in 2016. The Gin Guide says... Pothecary Gin is aromatic and floral, with lavender being at the forefront of the flavour, alongside juniper, citrus and subtle notes of honey and black tea. Being a blended gin, the flavours of the key botanicals come through to make Pothecary Gin a bold and distinctive gin with a smooth and mellow character. It will go down a treat with fans of floral gins. You Might Also Like... For another floral gin, try Adnams Copper House Gin, Bloom Gin, Silent Pool Gin or Masons Lavender Gin. |
