About Siegfried Gin
Siegfried Rheinland Dry Gin is a German gin from the Rhine region. The name comes from the character Siegfried who features in a German poetic saga, slaying a dragon, bathing in its blood and becoming immortal. The saga features the Linden Tree and the gin uses Linden blossoms as a key botanical amongst 17 other botanicals. The gin is traditionally distilled in-house small batches and delivers a citrus and floral/herbal aroma and is clean, earthy and warm to taste.
The Gin Guide says... Siegfried gin is a full bodied, characterful dry gin that offers impressive flavour and a carefully crafted complexity. The gin combines traditional distilling methods with a more modern flavour profile that includes lavender and floral notes from the Linden blooms. Thyme, cardamom, orange zest and angelica root are all evident, with juniper at the core. As the German gin market continues to boom, this is a commanding advert for German gin.
