About Soero Gin
Launched in 2021, Soero Gin was founded in Alghero, a medieval city on the northwest coast of the Italian island of Sardinia. The juniper and myrtle botanicals are collected on the island. Soero Gin's creator is Dario Olmeo, owner of the Maracaibo cocktail bar in Alghero. Inspired by the sunsets on Sardinia's Capo Caccia, the name Soero is a tribute to the sun (So) and to the city of Alghero (ero) where Dario was born. The bottle has a teardrop shape with streaks which represent ocean waves, the label is sand-coloured to represent the beach, and the first 'o' of the word 'Soero' on the label has a sun design. The blue cap cover reflects the colour of the sky. Soero Gin is produced at the Zamperoni Distillery, located in Padua in northeastern Italy. |
