Solar Gin - Review & Tasting Notes

The Gin Guide Review
While the bold bottle suggests that bright, ripe and fruity flavours with take centre stage, Solar Gin beams with deep, bittersweet and zesty citrus character. These prominent deep citrus notes are contrasted and balanced with floral orange blossom and cardamom. The mouthfeel is smooth with plentiful rich citrus oils before a black pepper kick in the finish and lingering liquorice. A Negroni makes for an ideal serving and orange peel and/or cardamom are ideal garnish starting points. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |
