Somerset Craft Distillery
Somerset Craft Distillery was established by Barry Davies in 2019 ahead of the launch of Spirit of Glastonbury Gin in 2021. Spirit of Glastonbury Gin features Somerset apples and is made with water drawn from St George's Spring beneath Glastonbury Tor, an image which is featured on the bottle. The range has since been expanded to include a Navy Strength Gin and an Orange & Ginger Gin.

Spirit of Glastonbury Dry Gin (42% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 9 botanicals including juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, liquorice root, cinnamon, almonds, lemon, apple. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Apple or Lime Zest, or in a Martini or Gimlet.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, apple and lemon. Dry on the palate with citrus, apple and warm, earthy undertones. A finish of coriander seeds, cinnamon and lemon.

"Every bottle of Spirit of Glastonbury Gin has been hand-crafted and lovingly distilled using our copper still named Guinevere. We use natural spring water drawn from St Georges Spring deep beneath Glastonbury Tor and nine botanicals including apples from Somerset’s traditional orchards. Glastonbury Tor is said to be one of the most spiritual sites in the country, steeped in history and legend.
