Tameside Distillery

Tameside Distillery is based in Greater Manchester and was launched in 2019 by Lee Chisnall. Their flagship gin, Tameside Gin, is produced using a combination of boiler infusion and vapour infusion in a 100L hybrid pot and column still, and it was followed by the launch of Navy Strength, Spiced, fruit-infused and tea-infused gins. Tameside Distillery is also one of the small number of British distilleries producing their own rum from scratch, with their Rainy City Rum brand.

"Our ethos is to create products which are completely unpractical for the big brands to make. We had the funds to either start a gin brand and get somebody else to make it, or do something really stupid... like actually open a distillery! Our gin is part boiler infusion and part vapour infusion, distilled as slowly as possible in our 100 litre stills.
