Tourer Gin - Watermelon & Mint
|
The Gin Guide Review
Tourer Watermelon & Mint Gin sees a very pleasing use of these two botanicals, with them being clearly identifiable and impactful as you'd hope, but without being overpowering or becoming too sweet and fruit or too herbal. It's a gin with 'signature botanicals' rather than a flavoured gin. There's journey to the flavours too, from initial juniper and citrus before a wash watermelon, with herbal mint joining before a kick of pink peppercorns leads into the finish. It's a gin that innovatively uses the unusual botanical of watermelon in an enjoyable way and the combination with mint is very effective, all delivered with a core of recognisable classic gin botanicals and balance of flavour. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |
Tourer Gin - Mango & Hibiscus

The Gin Guide Review
Tourer Gin's Mango & Hibiscus edition makes a big and bold first impression with vibrant, fruity aromas of mango, floral hibiscus and hints of vanilla. These key botanicals continue to be evident and recognisable on the palate, combing exotic, sweet fruitiness with hibiscus and spice from vanilla, peppery grains of paradise and warming ginger. With Tonic Water, the flavours come together harmoniously and it is a gin with a contemporary, tropical twist, rather than being a Mango & Hibiscus flavoured gin, and it certainly has appeal for the summer months in particular. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |
