Williams Great British Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Williams Gin
Williams Great British Extra Dry Gin is Britain's first Single-Estate Gin. The whole production process takes place at Chase Distillery and farm in Herefordshire, owned by William Chase (who also created Tyrell's Crisps). All on the same site, the potatoes are grown, fermented and distilled to produce Chase Vodka. This potato vodka is then distilled with the addition of juniper berries, juniper buds and infusions from 10 further botanicals to create Williams Gin, which is also bottled on site. Williams Gin won of a San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold award in 2016. The Gin Guide Review Williams Gin delivers a pleasing balance of juniper, citrus and spice. The 'single estate' production and the use of a potato base spirit, rather than the typical grain spirit, helps distinguish the gin which makes an enjoyable G&T and mixes impressively in a range of cocktails. - Paul Jackson, 2016 Buy Williams Gin
