Zona B Distillery
Zona B Distillery was established in 2022 by former brewer Alessandro Zaghi and is the first gin distillery in Verona, an area best known for producing Grappa. The distillery is home to a 200L copper still with a reflux column and their gin range includes Terpeni Classico London Dry Gin and their floral Terpeni Fiori Gin. The 'Terpeni' name refers to the biomolecules produced by plants, especially conifers, which form their resins and essential oils that give plants their characteristic aromas. The 'Zona B' named translates as 'Area B' and consists of family initials - Zaghi, Oscar, Nora, Alessandro and Betti.​

Terpeni Classico Gin (42% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 7 botanicals including juniper, angelica root, coriander seeds, liquorice root, cardamom, chamomile, grapefruit. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Grapefruit Peel, or in a Martini.
  • Tasting Notes: Fresh aromas of citrus, juniper and earthy undertones. Robust, resinous juniper on the palate with grapefruit and chamomile. A dry finish with lingering citrus and earthy, rooty notes.​
