Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Four Pillars Gin
Four Pillars Gin launched in 2013 following 18 months of testing and experimentation, and after a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign to fund the Four Pillars Distillery near Melbourne, Australia. The team describe the 'Four Pillars' as being their German copper pot stills, the triple-filtered water from the Yarra Valley, the botanicals from Australia (including Tasmian pepper berry leaf) and around the world, and the commitment and attention to detail that goes into their craft of distilling in-house. The Gin Guide Review Four Pillars Gin has become established as a flag bearer of Australian gin. The experimentation and attention to detail shine through as Four Pillars is not your traditional London Dry Gin. The dry backbone of juniper is washed with a combination of fresh and bitter orange notes, while sweet, spice, floral and herbaceous notes frolic together with a hint of pepper. It's a complex, lively, different and ultimately delicious gin. Garnish Suggestion: Orange or Grapefruit. - Paul Jackson, 2018 Buy Four Pillars Gin
