How Are Finalists Decided?
Following comprehensive blind tastings by our exceptional panels of industry-leading Judges, these are the gins which have been considered to be above the threshold score to be a Finalist this year in their respective categories. The threshold score to be a Finalist takes into account average scores from the Judges, the standard deviation of scores, and the number of entries in the category. Find out more about the judging process, criteria and Judges on the Judges & Judging page.
What Happens Next?
Final tastings and verifications are now taking place to determine and confirm the Winners in each of the tasting categories. Scores are also being collated to determine the geographic Winners and to announce the Winners of the Design & Branding category.
