The Judging Process
Judging for The Gin Guide Awards is carried out by an expert panel of judges with experience across gin production, marketing, events and mixology, and on-trade and off-trade, to achieve a comprehensive view of each entry. Each gin is scored against The Gin Guide's own scorecard system, featuring:

Alex Griffiths - Director, Griffiths Brothers Distillery Ltd
Alex co-founded Griffiths Brothers Gin, which now boasts 2 successful products, both of which are cold distilled in a rotary evaporator. The process has given Alex proven expertise in the qualities, challenges and characteristics that each contingent element and botanical in a gin can deliver.
Rhys James - Distiller, Wayfinder Spirits
Rhys is an experienced and experimental distiller, and an expert in on-trade, events and mixology. Rhys is a distiller at Wayfinder Spirits, whose range includes Wayfinder Gin, Five Lands Gin, Bay of Fires Gin and Chilkoot Gin, as well as a number of collaborations and white-labelled gins.
Andy Burrows - Founder, Gin Rag
As Founder and Editor of GinRag.com, Andy has extensive experience in analysing and assessing gins, as well as understanding their potential servings and mixology applications. Andy writes weekly no-nonsense gin reviews and seeks out the finest gin and cocktail bars that London has to offer.
Natalie Button - Founder, Gin Obsessions
